Principal's Message


Welcome to the Ridgewood Elementary School webpage. We are a Kindergarten through 4th grade school in East Moline, IL.

This school year went so fast - I cannot believe it is over!

I hope all our students and their families are enjoying summer vacation!  Parents - are you wondering how you can help your child be prepared to start the next school year?  Keep them reading this summer!  The East Moline Public Library has a fanstastic summer reading program and many fun activities for kids!   Check them all out here:

Registration for the 2015-2016 school year:
Wednesday, July 29       11:00 am - 7:00 pm           Glenview, Bowlesburg, Wells

Thursday, July 30           11:00 am - 7:00 pm          Glenview, Hillcrest, Ridgewood

Please bring two proofs of residency when registering your child.    See the district website for the list of accepted documents on the Residency Affidavit

About Our School

Ridgewood School is a kindergarten through 4th grade elementary with approximately 450 students.  We have highly qualified classroom teachers.  In addition, Ridgewood School has highly qualified staff members in the following areas:  a certified Learning Center Specialist, Title I reading, kindergarten literacy, elementary art, music, physical education, special education, and bilingual education.  We do have a full-time counselor and a part-time nurse.
